It is now the year 2012, and Mortlake has become the supernatural capital city of Australia. Built on a place of ancient magic, it draws supernatural creatures to it like bees to honey. Tension is rife between humans and supernaturals, and the supremest group Human's First is growing every day with unhappy humans.
The supernaturals that now call Mortlake their home aren't going to budge though - whether it's because they like it here or because the magic is compelling them to stay, no ones to say.
And so a war is brewing.
Who knows, maybe the rumours are true - 2012 could very well be the end of the world as we know it.
